Ajman Flamingo 2021

Ajman Flamingo 2021 was commissioned by the government of Ajman for al murabba Arts Festival. This work of art is a surreal pop art piece set against a mirrored background, inspired by traditional postage stamps. The artwork boasts a sophistication inspired by the 1970s in the uae. The flamingo on the stamp pays homage to Ajman’s leading protected wetlands that house different species of birds, including flamingos. The piece is created using pop art colors of turquoise, orange, and hues of pink embellished with gold foil to resemble Ajman’s rich history. The dimensions of the artwork is 139cm H x 104cm W.
